About Us
Although credit is given to many, Living Waters Honduras Mission began through the efforts of Dr. Robert Seymour, who on a fishing trip to Honduras saw the dental needs of people in Honduras. Over the years, Dr. Seymour has overseen the construction of several dental clinics in and around the La Ceiba area.

In the course of those first projects, many other people have been encouraged to participate, either through personal contributions, or through churchs in the North Mississippi area. It would be impossible to give credit on an individual basis as hundreds of people have participated with their physical involvement and monetary support.

Many support teams have traveled into Honduras since that first trip. Over time, it became apparent that many other areas of critical help were necesary. Living Waters Honduras Mission began to branch out into these other areas of need such as water systems, medical, educational and spiritual enrichment. In order to manage these efforts, Living Water Honduras Mission was incorporated as a 501.(c)(3) non profit charitable organization.

Water Problem
Most people in the United States have access to clean water. Unfortunately, in Honduras, much of the population does not have access to safe drinking water. It became apparent to the medical teams that much of the sickness they were treating were due to worm infestation from the drinking of ground water and the many parasites within. The works of Frank Monterroso were noted as he traveled around the remote villages, digging and installing deep well and pumping systems. As clean water was made available to the community, much of the sickness were eliminated.

Education Efforts
Many of the problems in Honduras are a result of little education. Living Waters Honduras Mission is actively involved in training the youth in the small villiages of Honduras, mostly in the Eastern Mosquito Coast area of the country and La Entrada de Copan.

Spiritual Needs
Living Water Honduras Mission may be a 501.(c)(3) organization. However its roots began with people who believe in Jesus Christ and its evangelical religious message. Delivering the gospel message is the foundation of what Living Waters Honduras Mission is about; this is our primary goal. As Christian brothers and sisters, we are expected, and willing to help those who are in need of earthly care while also explaining the "Good News" message of eternal salvation through the life, death and ressurection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
